For this project, I worked by exploring materials; clay and black glaze, to create a sculptural vase that captures the feeling of being "On Edge."

Inspired by “Can’t Help Myself” by Sun Yuan and Peng Yu, I wanted the piece to feel raw and emotional. The vase balances precariously on itself, almost defying gravity, to reflect a sense of instability and unease. Using the texture of clay and the dark, glossy finish of the glaze, I aimed to bring out both tension and vulnerability in the final piece.
